Is it possible to post a review?

Who can leave a review?
All reviews we collect come from real customers. In other words, people who have placed an order with us. In addition, a company may never offer a reward for posting a positive review. This undermines the integrity of a review. In addition to reviews about the entire webshop experience, customers may also receive a review request from us for a specific product. We assess these based on their content, always asking the question: ‘Does this review add useful information about this product for customers?’ For example, a comment about delivery time would not be posted here, because it is not interesting for someone looking for product information and references. Information about delivery times, service or, for example, the user-friendliness of the website can be posted on review pages such as Kiyoh and Trustpilot.

How is authenticity guaranteed?
Our main partner in collecting reviews is Kiyoh, which has been offering review systems since 2009. They work for large and small online shops and have intensive collaborations with leading partners, such as Thuiswinkel Waarborg and Webshop Keurmerk. Kiyoh believes it is important that reviews are reliable. Real reviews and stories, written by customers who have actually made a purchase from the online shop. To check and guarantee the reliability of reviews, they have built barriers into their system to ensure that the reviews given come from real customers.

We also work with Trustpilot.com, which applies the same guidelines and terms of use.

Are both positive and negative reviews posted on your website?
Every online shop receives both positive and negative reviews. If the overall score is high, the number of negative reviews will be lower, but there will always be areas for improvement. This is especially true when a significant number of reviews have been left. In order to provide as realistic a picture as possible, Winparts cannot remove negative reviews itself. However, it is possible to respond to them so that any complaints can be dealt with. Kiyoh can remove a review if it does not comply with their guidelines and terms of use.

Are paid reviews posted on your website?
Kiyoh has the following to say about this: "Our advice to companies is not to offer incentives for reviews. By incentives, we mean discounts (vouchers), rewards, loyalty points, gifts, etc. This can be perceived as manipulative, and the intention is that customer experiences are described as objectively as possible. In addition, Google also has certain guidelines for the use of incentives in reviews. Read more about this here.

Despite our negative advice, we at Kiyoh cannot rule out 100% that companies do not offer incentives. However, in accordance with the new legislation, a company is obliged to mention this when publishing these reviews."

In which cases will a review not be published?
Reviews cannot be edited or deleted by the company from which you made a purchase or used a service. However, a company can respond to a review in order to resolve any complaints. This means that negative experiences are also displayed. The review may be edited afterwards, but only the consumer themselves can do this. In addition, review platforms always link to the original review. Kiyoh can remove a review, but only if it does not comply with their guidelines or if personal data is shared.
